Back to the RT tomorrow and a question?

Post by MissAmethyst2U » Sun Mar 19, 2006 6:47 pm

So, I called Thursday to see if they would take the Infinity back by somme miracle and they are going to. I tried everyday last week to make that darn mask work and NOTHING works its just impossible for me to sleep with.

I have no clue what mask I want now. The NA11 was the other one I said something about so maybe I will see if they have that. I will also see what she thinks is good for me.

Now for my question, as far as my pressure being set up to 11 instead of 9. I had decided to give it a week or so to see how I do and I am doing better with it BUT my problem now is I am sleeping through EVERYTHING! Like is sleeping that well and that soundly a good sign or not? I have three alarms on my cell that I always use and I am sleeping through them all! I never sleep through my alarm clock. I have almost been late for stuff for the past like 4 days... I am worried this is a bad thing and I think it has to do with the pressure increase cause I do feel I sleep more deeply and I don't wake up or at least I don't remember it like I used to...

MissAmethyst2U, since you're doing better, could it be that you are now catching up on your sleep deficit? Just a thought.

Bill

I have no clue lol. I am hoping that maybe the doctor was right and I just do need the higher pressure. I was just wondering if there could be anything bad related to higher pressure and being in such a deep sleep it seems. Once I am awake I am fine. I have been sleeping a lot some days though but could also be due to lack of sleep on other nights due to partying lately Don't worry I am not drinking or anything, just having a GREAT time out with friends! (I learned CPAP and having a couple drinks don't mix, It feels like CPAP doesn't even work then cause I am sooo relaxed)

Stage 4 is true delta sleep. It predominates the first third of the night and accounts for 10-15% of total sleep time. This is often described as the deepest stage of sleep; it is exceedingly difficult to wake a subject in this state. This is the stage in which night terrors and sleepwalking occurhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep
No idea what it means though.

Heather, my dear, do not knock sleeping deeply. I guess the only question I have for you is, are you feeling well when you get up or is not making a difference? I am always happy when I sleep well. And to me sleeping deeply is an indication of sleeping well. I know you've been happier lately, so maybe the two are going hand in hand? E me when you get the chance. I'm due for an update .
