Are you using the breeze with nasal pillows or the nasal mask?

I chose the breeze because my DME, like many others, did not even not what the Aura is! One day, I might just buy one for myself to check it out!

But for right now, I use the Breeze with nasal pillows. Once I got it adjusted, it works like a charm! I love it!

From what I've read, the aura puts less pressure on your nose and you don't have the hard plastic piece over your nose. The vent hole is not directed up your partner's nose as well! Luckily, I sleep on my right side - to the side of the bed. My hubby won't mind the extra air during the summer when he gets so hot!

Someone who has actually used the Aura will have to comment more. But from what I've read, people have had to make their own adjustments to it and right now, I'm not willing to put the $$ into something I have to take apart. But people have done the same with other masks - pesky little beasts aren't they (the mask that is!)

Toss up

The Breeze is quieter, which is important to me. It is not as comfortable because the rigid head gear causes the pillows to tug at my nostrils when I move. And, it's exhaust is straight at your bed partner when facing him/her.

The Aura will rain badly, if you use heated humidification.

I am an Aura fan(atic). It takes some fiddling, but when I get it right it is almost as if there is nothing there - just a slight pressure on my nostrils. I am becoming emotionally attached to the thing
