My mother recently brought this resmed S8 ( escape s8) cpap machine in United States. But she is not in USA now. She needs to change the Ramp. We follow the instructions on the manual, but the number go back to what was set before. I try to call the vendor, but the technician won't tell us over the phone. It is very hard for her to mail it back to us. She just had a big surgery, so it is important for her to have a good sleep. Can any body teach us how to reset the ramp for this kind of machine? Thank you.

This should help you;

Turn on the device and wait until the ramp screen(cpap mode) or the settling screen(autoset mode) appears on the LCD. At this stage you can adjust the ramp time.
Press the Right(red button) and the Down key simultaneously for 5seconds to access the clinincal menu.

To access the settings menu press the Left(menu) key twice to access the standard machine settings eg, mask type, cpap pressure.

To change settings and options use the Up/Down key to scroll through the settings and options. Use the Left key to change each setting as required. Press hold down the Right (exit) key to return to the clinical menu screen.

When you are looking at the machine, you will see a green button(Left), the Up/Down button(black) and the Right button(red).
