My good news is that I will be able to keep my machine as I passed compliance. (I'm on Medicare).
I also learned today that my machine will give me info on my sleeping. So, that is good too.
Now my question is - how do I do this, what all do I need? I tried to download the Sleepyhead Beta but could not complete it. I have a Phillips Resprionics BiPap. I think I have a little bit of ADD and am having problems concentrating on instructions, etc. What exactly do I need to do to be able to read the results from a nights sleep? Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Tomorrow I go to my sleep doctor so I will get the results of the past several weeks since he upped my numbers to 19/22. I have a feeling he is going to up me again to the high of 25 where I started out from. I just want to be able to wake up in the morning and not feel like a truck ran over me and that is how I've felt since I started with the bi pap. I am totally commited to using this because I want my life back and if I have to deal with headaches, red bumps on my nose, I guess I will but in return I'd like a little energy and not to fall asleep during the day so I can go back to working.
This forum has been a God-send for me. I knew nothing and it's taken a while for me to put things together that I read here, but compared to my last doctor visit, I feel like I know the right questions to ask for the first time.

It would help if we knew where you got stumped at? Also what operating system is on your computer?macewa wrote: I tried to download the Sleepyhead Beta but could not complete it. I have a Phillips Resprionics BiPap.
Current Beta version is Windows OS only. Mac computer users new version is not quite ready for release.
Finally did you read the User Guide to help with install instructions?
Only change so far of significance in the User guide is that there now is a Windows installer for the Beta Version and it installs just like any other program with the little install wizard thingy.

Install is pretty straightforward. Some people don't notice the need to only point to the drive letter for the SD card and go to the folder on the SD card.
So if you tell us what you did and how far you got, someone can help you better.

Re: Good news and more questions
I went back and tried a couple of more times and finally got it downloaded. My computer was fighting my installing it. My computer wasn't even showing it in the files but I found it and now it's installed. I have a PC with Windows 7 which I hate. I have a lot of problems with my computer not wanting to interface with other programs and HP is at the top of my list of people to call tomorrow. I have Sleepyhead on my computer now and just have to figure out how it all works.
Thanks for your response.
Tonight I feel like two trucks ran over me but am putting off going to bed until I'm really tired. I took some ibuprofen a couple of hours ago but still hurt like heck. Need to really be tired in order to fall asleep quickly and with the mask I like falling asleep quickly. LOL

Same here and I will be hitting the bed very shortly. When I can't type a four letter word with 2 error....time to put it up. We will both be more clear headed in the AMmacewa wrote:Tonight I feel like two trucks ran over me

Re: Good news and more questions
Please be careful about the red bumps on your nose. Place a bandaide over the area or try some moleskin on the mask, or there are the mask liners. Those bumps can get bad very quickly. Take care.
