Hello-
A friend of mine has a husband with sleep apnea, but he requires bipap. He originally had the sleepstyle 600 machine, and was only able to use it for a few nights due to doctor's error (it was the wrong machine).
She is offering to give it to me for free, which I really appreciate.
What do you know about this machine, and how would I get the pressure adjusted to fit my prescription if I'm able to use it? Would this machine be okay for a first time cpap user?

Re: sleepstyle 600 cpap series
I use a similar machine Sleepstyle 200..I feel it is a great machine, but does not give you data. I have used mine for over 3 years without a problem. It is not hard to adjust to your prescribed pressure.Hea83ther wrote:Hello-

Re: sleepstyle 600 cpap series
I used one for 5 plus years and had no problems. I can't remember whether it is easy to change the pressure setting but a google should bring up the manuals. Or check for youtube videos.
I found that machine was quieter than my new S9.

No data beyond hours of use but a very decent machine as far a therapy goes.
Provider/clinical manual is shows as available direct download at this page...just scroll down till you see it.
The manual will explain how to change the settings.

Could sure be used until when and/or if you wanted a full data machine and used your insurance coverage to get you the full data machine of your choice and then the 600 could be a backup machine.
Especially worth considering if you have a insurance deductible to meet that is significant right now.
