Encore Pro Export file

Encore Pro version 2 dash four dash twelve dash two I'm the sole patient in the database. I'm trying to load data from the SD card. I select Utilities -> Import Patient and it asks for an .exp file. My SD card doesn't have one. Somehow, a year or so ago I did manage to get data into the software but now I'm at a loss as my SD card has lots of data but no .exp file. (I've checked with a file/directory utility - there is no .exp file)

Don't use Utilities.
Instead go to the little rectangle orange icon with the little tiny plus thing on it...next to your name (immediately above the therapy folder)..choose "Download from Device"

Thanks for your reply. I've tried that but EP2 never finds the device tho I can see and read the SD
card in Windows Explorer. I get the impression, wrongly?, that the device it's looking for is a smartcard
reader.

It shouldn't need to even try to look for the smart card reader.
I have Encore Pro 2.14 and I used an M series machine that used the DT3500 card reader..then I got the PR S1 that uses the SD card and I used same program without issues for both machines. It found the SD card easily.
Wonder if your Encore Pro version is messed up. How about trying a different download link? I don't know where you got yours but if from a torrents site it might be buggy. Never know about those.
