Could it be too dry? I used to have nosebleeds in winter once the heating was on but haven't since using cpap with humidifier.

I experience the same problem. Could be allergy related or as mentioned above---Dryness so I use Bacitracin antibotic ointment in the nose and as suggested by another cpap user---Turn up the HH. Seems to help.

I read earlier this fall, in another thread I cant find, someone suggesting lanolin ointment for a dry nose. My nose had gotten so dry even with the humidifier turned up and nightly Ayr use I was miserable and bloody. I picked up some lanolin and it got better over night. In 48 hours it was completely gone. Im so happy with the results I had to come and thank the mystery person who suggested it. Since I couldnt find that thread, I highjacked this one.
I never would have made it without this forum.

Turning up the humidi one notch and using Ayr (saline & aloe vera gel) work for me. Lanolin is a great product and works for many. I just haven't needed it so far.
