A couple of question from a newbie.
I have been on my machine for a month now and wake up feeling bloated with lots of gas Is this normal or a sign of another problem? My chest also feels tight first thing in the morning. Doc said this should go away in time. Your thoughts? The tightness does go away after the bloating is vented, usually within an hour or so. Thanks for any reply's. Joe

Welcome to the forum. When you have a chance, please update your profile with the equipment you use so we will be better able to help you with any eqipment questions you may have.
The bloating you are experiencing is called aerophagia... and yes it can be common. I suffered from it when I first started, but it has sort of has gone away with me. Basically your body is swallowing air into your stomach and this air may also enter your intestines and cause gas. I never really found a "cure" for it other than burping and farting.
Here is a link to this site searching on aerophagia as it this has been a very much discussed topic in the past.
