Aussie heated hose - convert!

Post by sleepyred » Tue Mar 07, 2006 5:53 am

I just got mine yesterday. I set my humidity on 3 1/2 up from 1.

NO RAINOUT! Sir_C - you said it would help my nose soreness, and you were RIGHT! No sore spots!

Only one issue - my other hose was 8 feet and this is 6. I used the extension from my mirage mask and the elbow connector that came with the heated hose. I covered the extension with one of my young son's old socks, hooked it to the heated hose and just plugged it in!

I even have a cold and it worked beautifully all night long - when I went to "drain" the water out of the hose like I do every morning, there was none!

I even think I can raise the humidity a tad if I need to!

It is a wonderful product and well worth the investment IMHO! Best investment yet for my cpap! And for my sleep!

I'm with you, sleepyred! After using the Aussie hose for a couple of months, I decided to buy a second one! Now I can clean one hose while I use the other one! And, I won't have to worry about doing without, should one hose fail!

Sooooo pleased to hear that you got the hose and it works! I found it so good that I have sometimes referred to it as the slumber wonder number from down under .. but then again I need therapy! (well at least my children tell me I do)

It made all the difference to me from not being able to live with my breeze to loving it!
