I caught a cold just as thanksgiving ended last week. I almost kicked it but I had to work all week because owner was out of town and lab needed to be open. So, it converted to a sinus thing. Last night was my third night on the sofa trying to sleep propped up against a stack of sofa cushions so I could breath. Its been a foggy couple of days. Good news was that around 4 am I managed to mask up and keep it on for 4 hours. I plan to nap soon.

I usually sleep in the recliner next to the computer and in front of the TV. Any time I get even close to dozing off, I put on the mask and continue TV or computing. Or I close my eyes, don't fall asleep and watch TV or compute with the mask on. I get a lot of awake hours recorded in my data.

I've got so used to masking up, I suspect I'm not going to accidentally fall asleep without the mask anyway, unless I'm really sleep deprived.

I almost fell asleep at my workbench one day while sanding some wood and I think it's because I wore a dust mask.
Pavlovian connection...sure fits

Well, it is nice to know I am not alone! I have now had great sleep since my oooops night. Back to my 'wish I had a bit more energy' state that is head and shoulders better than I had after my night without the mask. It is what it is.....
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
