Wow a lot of information here. Some of my other threads are on here. I've been told by my new friend " Pugsy" that most of my data looks great. I think i was on my back last night more than normal. The other night i had sever allergies and wore my face mask not the pillows. Oddly i felt great today with the highest AHI I've had. I have learned so much and learn more each day. I read and follow some very good advise. I know i can share my concerns and get good advise. My initial sleep study my AHI was 61.2. Severe sleep apnea. Now my highest has been 4. So I'm doing very well. I'm determined to manage my apnea and i will wear my mask each and every night. I'm so thankful for "Pugsy" especially for all the guidance she has given. She isn't the only one but i hear from her each time i have a concern or question. My goal is to one day be knowledgeable enough to help someone else manage their Sleep Apnea.
God Bless
Please advise on Data from last night Sleep
Re: Please advise on Data from last night Sleep
Well what ive been told is proven true again. Last nights sleep was great. AHI back down to 1.7. Found myself breathing out of my mouth once before i woke up at 3:00am to go to bathroom. No dry mouth but i heard the air coming out of my mouth. Went right back to sleep. I have put it off as long as i can. The chin strap comes out tonight. LOL

Pugsy, once again, thanks for the helpful info!
Congrats on how successful you have been so far! I've also found the folks on this site very helpful and encouraging to us newbies!
I'm now averaging around 6 AHI after 2 months, but I am improving! Like you, I started with a high AHI at the sleep study, so I'm also finding my "relatively" low numbers very encouraging.

If you are struggling with congestion, it helped me to add Alkalol to my daily sinus rinse. This reduced my congestion and allows me to breathe freely with my CPAP mask. CPAPtalk post about Alkalol use here: viewtopic.php?p=665255#p665255
