SD Card Question

Why would my SD card not show data for last night? It does for every other night this month.

Sigh....just when I think I have it all figured out....

Did you have it write protected? Some have a little slider on the card that locks the card from being written to (I know my Resmed card has this). Have you tried rebooting the pc and inserting the card again? Maybe it just didn't read the card correctly.

Was the card all the way in?

Make sure you didn't have card in "read only" with the little switch on the SD card. If you didn't mess with this yesterday it won't be a factor.

Try this...reinsert card and make sure the machine recognizes it on the LCD screen. Wait 60 seconds. Remove the card and download the data again. See if it shows up. Data except for wave flow is stored on the machine and should write to the card if it wasn't there just a little while ago (as in card not fully inserted last night). You should not lose anything except wave flow.

I have left card out over night..realized it next morning...put card in the machine...give it a few seconds to recognize the card and write to it...removed card and put in computer and the only data lost is wave flow. Rest of the data is there.

It's possible that the card wasn't inserted in the cpap all the way. If you re-insert it in the cpap, it should write whatever data it has that is not on the card.

So what was your problem?

I guess the card wasn't in the slot all the way last night. After pushing it in, leaving it for a minute, then reloading onto the computer it all came out fine

Well you aren't the first and sure won't be the last to do that. I always watch the LCD screen when I insert the SD card to make sure the machine recognizes it. Of course doesn't do me any good when I leave the SD card in the computer over night. It is nice that only data we lose is the waveform flow data. Not a deal breaking loss.

Especially embarrassing when you knew you had the card in all the way
