Question on gasping slightly

Post by kaiya2465 » Tue Nov 15, 2011 6:13 pm

I am back on cpap set @ 8, also am using the swift fx (hers) again. I am wondering if the gasping for air a little bit will go away once I figure out the right position to sleep in? Has anyone else have this happen before?

Thanks

Are you gasping for air while still awake or does this happen as gasping that wakes you from a restful sleep. I found that when my air pressure was too low it felt like I was suffocating a bit.

It happens while I'm awake. I am trying different sleep positions to see if there is a better one.

I have the worst time on my back. Everyone is different, but the back lying position is no good for me.

I am usually a stomach sleeper but have been trying to teach myself to stay on my side. Which for me is not exactly working yet & if I could teach myself to stay asleep I would be very happy.

Thanks
