? Reading data off S9 Elite data card question ?
? Reading data off S9 Elite data card question ?
I am trying to find a way to read the data that is stored on my card. I am technically savvy and understand the reports that are generated by my local sleep store but don't want to run across town each time I have issues with my sleep. I just want to be able to look at the data if I have a bad night of sleep and see if I can better understand myself. I am proactive I guess I'd say rather than reactive. The rep at the sleep store says we can't have the data but yet they'll print copies for me, what gives? I did however note that they're using "ResScan" as their software to view my files. Is there anywhere you can go online to upload the data and be able to view the files?

Check Uncle_Bob's signature here for what you request.

Here is a tutorial on how to use the software after you visit UncleBob's signature.

If you have other questions about something that is unclear to you, just post them here and someone will explain.
You can even post a copy of your daily detailed reports.
When downloading data make sure you change the default (which is summary data) to all detailed data to get everything.

It is a good idea to lock your SD card before inserting it into card reader/computer, and unlock it again before putting it back into your machine.
Some people (including me) have had issues with data corruption; if that happens your S9 will want to erase the card when you put it back in. Locking the card avoids this issue. Also, Macs will write little files to the card (thumbs.db etc) if it is unlocked that the S9 might not like.

If you lock the card for sure it can not be accidentally erased however, I would think that it likewise could not be recorded on so your cpap wmay no longer record data to it.

I think it's not very common, but better to be careful, especially if you have to periodically turn in your sd card for compliance reading.
When I first got my S9, I read the card and reinserted it successfully into the S9 afterward for 3 days. On the 4th day, when I reinserted the card, the S9 showed an error message - "Corrupted Data on card, Erasing card" - or something like that.
Since then, I lock & unlock it (the whole operation takes about 3 seconds) to be sure.
Scienta est lux lucis.
