Husband/wife sleep apnea

Post by teknomom » Fri Oct 21, 2011 7:53 am

We just got a pulse oximeter yesterday and my husband used it last night. He had over 35 desats per hour (4%) so we may both be getting sleep workups at the same time! I go for my titration study Nov. 2nd. Last night I had my best night of sleep since this whole diagnostic journey began. Plus, the O2 I'm using at night makes me feel much better during the day. I'm hoping the titration goes well and that I can start whatever treatment I'll be on. They're guessing I may need an ASV machine because I had 50% centrals, but the 2nd study should give more data since I slept so badly during my 1st study. We're looking forward to meeting other forum members at the Denver meeting tomorrow! This forum has been so helpful in helping us educate ourselves. Thanks everyone!
