Don't know if anyone here recalls the Transcend CPAP machine that was supposed to be worn on the head. Yeah, silly idea unless you sleepwalk a lot. Evidently the company took the advice of some of us and is now marketing it as a small lightweight portable CPAP machine without all the wear-it-on-your-head nonsense that, in my estimation at least, sacrificed their credibility. Anyway, you can see it here https://www.cpap.com/productpage/transc ... etics.html in its new form. Oddly enough, it still has the strap connectors hanging off the sides. Looks like they just lost the headgear. It still has the skull-friendly foam pad. Don't see any suction cups for chrome-domes, though.
While I applaud the makers for moving their product toward a more reasonable niche, I don't think it's going to attract many buyers. At that price point you can get an Intellipap which has a 3 year warranty, is made by a reputable company that everyone's heard of, and is an automatic machine with decent software available, to boot. There are machines equivalent in features to the Transcend II for about half the price it's listed for on CPAP.com. Check them out at https://www.cpap.com/cpap-compare-chart/all-CPAP
