CPAP.com and perscriptions

Post by Jake Guest » Wed Feb 22, 2006 12:47 am

I love what CPAP.com has to offer, in case I need to buy anything out of pocket.

What can I buy without a persription? Better way to ask, what requires a perscription besides the machine?

Machines are about the only items requiring one. You just need to fax over a copy of your prescription AFTER you place an order on-line, cpap.com will keep it on file for future purchases. I think the prescription is good for 1 year and can be renewed with a phone call to your doctor.

You don't need a script for masks, replacement cushions, hoses, filters only the machine itself.

When you place a subsequent order with them, just put in the info box "prescription on file" if that is the case, they will notify you via email if one is needed.
