Thanks to DSM's suggestion I was able export Encore Pro data to an XML file to look at a few things in a little more detail than is available from the Encore Pro Reports. Some of the listings are obvious as to what they mean, such as start time. Some, like Event Type which is just a number, are not so obvious. Since I haven't seen details posted of how to interpret this XML file data I'll list some what I discovered. I'm sure others besides myself will probably want to go through this data at some point.
1. As DSM warned me, it will be a big file.
2. IE is a poor choice for viewing XML files, although it will work with small files.
3. I used Mind Fusion's freeware "XML Viewer" which works much better than IE (although still slow because of the file size). It is available at this link: http://www.mindfusion.org/product1.html
4. Events are provided at 30 sec increments.
5. Here are some of the Event Type codes I decoded:
- 6 Pressure Value
- 13 Leak Rate
- 14 Snore
- 15 Hypopnea
- 18 Apnea
Since the data is recorded in 30 second increments, the resolution is not great, but it is a little better than the detail visible from the charts alone.
Regards,
Bill
