Make sure you get your doctor to specify the Respronics or Resmed S9 on the prescription. That way the DME will not try to give you a brick... (a machine that will not give you data and does not have all the bells and whistles....).

Nah, nah. Respironics or Resmed S9 doesn't specify anything but the manufacturer, the brand.

You either need the specific model name: PR SystemOne Pro, PR SystemOne Auto, Resmed S9 Elite, Resmed S9 Auto - or w/o specifying brand or model but precluding an entry level device and forcing provision of a fully data capable device the words: "access to Leak, AHI, AI" should be included.
