Guess I'm gonna have to lug my machine along with me when I travel.
I decided to try Provent for a nap today, thinking that:
a) I was awake enough to figure out how to put the valves on
b) I wouldn't be wrecking my night's sleep if it didn't work
I could tell right away that it wouldn't work for me. As previously
noted, I could inhale just fine, but exhalation was restricted. After
wearing them for about 10 minutes, I felt like I needed to breathe
through my mouth in order to get enough air. No way I could have
slept like that.
And I could tell that the edges of my nose were not going to like the
adhesive, even if I'd been able to breathe normally.
I put my mask back on, turned on the machine, sighed happily and took
a nap. Why try to fix what ain't broken (for me)?
I do wish it had worked, though. It would have been nice not to carry
the machine around.
Oh well. At least the trial pack wasn't too expensive.

That's too bad. Thanks for posting your results though.
