QUICK S9 QUESTION

Post by mowdoc » Thu Sep 01, 2011 2:59 pm

Does the S9 CPAP restart a new day on the data log if you stop it during the night for 15 - 20 minutes and then restart it??

I often get up in the middle of the night and stay up a few minutes then go back to bed. Should I stop my S9 or leave it running while I am up??

Thanks

Mine seems to produce an aggregate reading if you only have it off for a few minutes. Example: last night I got fed up with my tryout of the nasal mask, stopped the unit, swapped the mask (about 15 min total time) and restarted. This AM is showed the full amount of sleep time, including the time it was off.

I believe that mine has shown the stop and then the start up in detailed data graphs. You can see on graph that the trending ends and then you can see the ramp time build when you hit the on button. But the time up until any stop and then the start time again during the night are counted in the total sleep time. Naps are too. My understanding is that the sleep time will reset around noon each day. So any nap taken before noon would probably show on your data for the night before and any nap after noon will show on data for the night coming up.
