Prescription for mask

Post by idahogal » Wed Feb 15, 2006 9:14 am

Hi all, I was wondering if I had to have a prescription for just a mask if I were going to pay for it out of pocket? I would like to buy a FF mask as back up for when I am sick. Thanks for all of your help.

Some places say "yes". Others say "no prescription necessary for masks".

I believe that cpap.com will sell anyone a mask, anytime. Great prices, and they are our generous hosts also.

If you are going to buy out of pocket, do yourself a favor and be sure to check cpap.com's prices. I do not think they can be beat for price, and their service is simply the best there is. You will also get free shipping from UPS on orders over $100. The only place that I have been asked for a prescription for a mask was in California, when I was on holidays and I tore my mask's seal.
