Can hard coughing harm a cpap?

Post by Roger2 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 4:06 pm

I began using my cpap machine last night after three days but was still coughing a lot. Can coughing hard into the cpap harm it?

Some people have reported blowing the filters out of the back of PRS1 machines. As long as you put them back, it shouldn't matter.

Other than that, I don't see how you would hurt the machine.
