Noiey

Post by pazza46 » Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:12 pm

HI

Been on CPAP treatment for about 4 months now, startinting to get use to the treatment. But the only problem is when I switch the machine on. It's seems noise. I'm not quite sure where it's coming from. The humidifier or the hose it self. I did think it was air in the tude. I've have the tude in a hose cover. But after a while it seems to go and been quieter.

the machine could be defective. take it back and ask for a machine with data output. the S8 Escape is at the buttom of Resmed's scale. I was given such a "brick" but took it back and got an S9 Elite instead under same insurance.

What kind of noise? Air noise? Thumps? Whistling?

Be sure there is no water in the hose.

Be sure that the humidifier cover is closed tight and that the gasket is installed properly.
