THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much for the wealth of knowledge and experience shared here at CPAPtalk.com

My dh's sleep apnea was recently confirmed through a split night sleep study. I since have been trying to find him the best information and equipment. I was so thankful to be able to find your site!! I am one who loves data and information.

He did not sleep well at all at the sleep study. I have spent hours reading here and elsewhere on the web. We both agreed a data capable autopap with EPR and a pillow mask was it sounded like he needed.

I hunted online and found the best price for the ResMed S9 Autoset and then I called several local DMEs to see what they could offer. I found one small family owned local DME who actually offered to beat the online prices!! I was so excited!

So we picked up the equipment on Tuesday. His first night he had an AHI 3.4. Last night it was down to 1.0.

This morning, I asked how he slept last night. For the first time in years, he answered a very enthusiatic "GREAT!"

Thanks for all your help!

Jill

Welcome to the forum, Jill. That's great for your husband that you are so interested in helping him get good therapy. Lucky man!

Congrats!! What a testament to how knowledge is powerful in understanding and succeeding with this therapy. Your hubby is, indeed, lucky you are resourceful and into data!! Your research and discussions led you to great equipment and a phenomenal start to his treatment. I welcome him to the 'like a duck to water' club..... as I also had a great start right out of the gate.

Here is to continued good sleep, sweet dreams, and great REM! Keep us posted on his progress.
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
