DME & Dr ordered (?) overnight pulse ox

I would be extremely interested in responses to the following: Does your DME call you on a semi-regular basis (let's say every 3 or 4 months) and tell you your Doctor has ordered an overnight pulse ox test for you? If so, have you done the test and later found your doctor did not, in fact, order the test?
Is anyone in a situation where a Dr. ordered overnight pulse ox tests to be done regularly as a standing order type of thing?

I would call the doctor and ask if he ordered it...if yes...ask why. If no...fire the DME.

LSAT, yes, that call will be made on Monday. I am in the beginning of a, shall we say, investigative process that may prove to be quite interesting all around.

After reading this thread, I've decided not to trust my DME... and will consult with my doctor on everything! Can't say I've had a great experience with the DME anyway. They gave me the machine that my doctor ordered (I think), and did just enough so that I wouldn't complain about them to my doctor.
