Fragmented sleep for any reason will surely impact how we feel the next day. Can you isolate a cause?Padron192664 wrote: Sleeping is still fragmented and I still wake up a few times to use the bathroom.
Frequent urination. Yes a symptom of OSA. Also a symptom of other problems. If your OSA is, at least on paper, effectively treated perhaps look at other causes. Male or female? If male, age and could it be prostate related?
Fluid intake near bedtime, especially caffeine products which act as a diuretic? Meds, especially those to help remove fluid like some blood pressure meds.

Leaks are below redline, usually a zero median and low teens at worst for 95% except when I had my pillows on backwards or not at the right angle, then leaks got a little out of control for a few nights. AHI is zero or point something, maybe one central (how does machine know central vs obstructive/hyponea??) and one obstructive per night at worst. Flow curves are not perfectly rounded and dont have nice sinusiodal shape upon inspiration and seemed "raggedity" possibly causing bathroom visits. Pressure of 7 might be too low, will talk to DOC bout that. Also peaks seem to get real low and not real rounded during possibly REM portion of sleep. Amplitude of flow seems to be around 25-30. For a certain part of night, flow seems to drop to high teens.cflame1 wrote:and what does your Resscan tell you is going on padron?
Fragmented sleep was one of the reasons I went to seek out sleep doc/study. I believe it was due to UARS and my brain/body waking me up before I had an obstruction. My brain wouldnt let my body sleep for the rest of night cause of what would happen, tongue falling back in throat closing airway or narrowing airway due to relaxation. It just became a habit. I'm not sure what to do to correct fragmented sleep ( gotta discuss that with DOC). May just take some time to undue things. Been having these sleep problems for last 6 months and this is my 4th week of treatment. Don't wake up in a panic any longer but I still wake up earlier than I would like and not able to fall back to sleep. My body seems like it wants to go back to sleep in the early morning but I get hypnic jerks , where a muscle spasms, could be leg, arm, or whole body it seems sometimes, wakes me up from trying to fall asleep. (Another thing to ask DOC about).Pugsy wrote:Fragmented sleep for any reason will surely impact how we feel the next day. The nocturia has seemed to get better some nights and no so other nights. No other health problems that I know of. I'm a 27 yr old male who only takes meds currently to treat Lyme disease, which I found out that I had Saturday. (Was bit probably around 5 weeks ago). Sleep has been a little better this week now that I have that being treated. Was wondering why for the first three weeks it seemed like I was spinning my tires trying to sleep. Follow sleep hygiene rules and know better than drinking caffiene late in the day or lots of fluids near bed time.
