Yeah, that was more like what I experienced - it just kinda hit me that I would be dependent on this machine for the rest of my life. I think I've worked thru most of that now (hopefully that is just a phase without relapses...) The good news is, it's working for me, and even with those thoughts, I knew (logically) that I couldn't go without it. It helps that I seem to have found an "o.k." combination (mask/gear). It's not the "sweet spot" yet, but I can feel the improvement.
