Long Flights/Airport Security

Post by gailzee » Wed Jan 26, 2005 9:52 am

I fly extensively to Hungary from the US. Long flight going over. With the TSA inspecting bags, supposedly more thoroughly, what has been the experience with traveling with a CPAP machine. Do most CPAPer's lock their machines up when not in use in hotels, etc. Curious as to traveling experiences, no jokes or cartoons, please!

I gaurd my gear when out of the house, I fear what my day('s) would be like if it got stolen, especially out of the country. I would never leave it out in the car so some clown can rip it off either.
no jokes or cartoons, please!

You shouldn't have any problems. CPAP machines are very common now & the airport security people are used to seeing the bags & know what they are.
