I dropped from 11 to 10.5 (M-series only drops at 1/2 intervals) Will try it tonight to see if that helps with my aerophagia.
My hypops and Vibratory snores have increased also! Acckkk! I am not sure what this means for me. VS has gone into the 100's, hypops in the 1.4's. Do I need to get in touch with my absent Pulmo?
Any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Susan

Re: Lowered my pressure...HELP!!
Pressure will be going back up for me. I woke up panicky this morning, I woke up thru the night, just enough to know I awake. I was nervous about dropping pressure to begin with, so this may have contributed to anxiety. Had leg cramps all night.
Now I am a mess this morning! Scared that I have hurt myself by doing this. I didn't go below my titrated pressure of 10, so I am trying to calm myself down with that. Wow self adjusting is NOT for me! My hat is off to those of you who can and do! I didn't hurt myself did I? I am an anxious mess this morning!

Re: Lowered my pressure...HELP!!
Susan,
You spent years at no pressure at all, some of them with obstructive sleep apnea. If one night of pressure at 0.5 less that the optimal would hurt you, than nobody would be given a CPAP without a week of sleep studies.
Relax.

Re: Lowered my pressure...HELP!!
Would be we were all as compliant as you. No, you didn't hurt yourself last night except by worrying about it so much. It was an intelligent move to deal with a problem. So you found out self-titration isn't for you. All the problems you had last night were probably coincidental or from worry.
Hang in there.
Hang in there.

Re: Lowered my pressure...HELP!!
Thank you Oz. In reality I know this, but in my anxious mind all kinds of scenarios go by. I hate panic disorder!
I am working on trying to relax.
Thank you again.

Re: Lowered my pressure...HELP!!
Thank you Mary. I am the Queen of worry. I have calmed down now.
I am a stickler for following Dr. advice, I attribute that to my Panic Disorder. ( lucky me! NOT! )
I know I was very nervous about changing pressure, so I also know that contributed to
my anxiety last night. Just not so sure about the leg cramps, they were the worst I
have had. I had them all night long, versus maybe 1 a night, every now and then.
Anywho, I will be returning to pressure of 11 tonight. Aerophagia wasn't as bad this morning,
but I don't feel comfortable enough to make this call myself.
