I'm a new user, so the problem might be well-known, but here goes:
I'm using a CMS-50F (wrist), with SPO2 V1.2 on a Windows 7 laptop. I can download, review and save data just fine. However, if I later open the data for review (with the CMS-50F detached) and exit using the X in the upper right-hand corner while the data is visible - the data file disappears from the list. I've been unable to restore the files, or even find them using Windows tools.
If I close the file using the magnifying glass icon before exiting, then I have no problems.
Does anybody know how to export these files to Excel? This SW is generally a pain in the keister!
CMS-50F, SPO2 V1.2, Win7 -- losing data

I'm using the CMS-50F and SpO2 V1.1 software on Windows XP and have had some difficulties which I have resolved.Don_G wrote:I'm a new user, so the problem might be well-known, but here goes:

The data files are located in the Program Files folder /SpO2/Data.
There is a header file for each session with the SpO2 file type and I haven't explored what its format is.
Opening it with Notepad, you get the first line with the date, time, and patient name.
Then there is a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't seem to be related to anything.
For each session, there is also a companion file in .CSV format that can be opened directly in Excel.
It appears that this file is the direct sampling data consisting of O2 saturation level and Pulse rate data.
Every so often, there are several 0,0 entries that I don't understand. Perhaps these are related to movement where data s not received properly.
This file seems to be in one second sampling intervals. At least when I divide the number of pairs by the number of seconds in an hour, I get a number that is close to the total recorded time.
The problem I had was in saving the reports in .PDF format. I have Acrobat Pro loaded so I can select .PDF as a printer type and then print. The software fails when printing directly from the main screen but works just fine from the Preview screen. I think they don't properly wait until Acrobat loads or something but if the print image is created by previewing, then it sends to Acrobat without problems.
