First off thanks to the site administrator for providing me with valuable information already, it is greatly appreciated by a new CPAP user.
Down to the issue. I have been using the F&P ICON PREMO for about two weeks now. The very first night I had the most restful sleep in memory and was full of vim and vigor the following day. Then the leaks. I was using the popular blue gel nasal mask. I couldn't get that thing to stop leaking significantly after that first night. So, last week I went back to the supplier and they gave me nasal pillows to try. These are working very well and allow me to sleep on my side which is natural for me. I feel that the pillows are working for me. However, and this is the real issue, I would like to be able to empirically know that my sleep is improved. I understand that the PREMO allows you to view sleep data and I have looked at this data. What I lack is the ability to interpret this data. What are the parameters in which readings are considered acceptable, optimal or problematic? I don't know. There appears to be a great deal of experience in this forum so I'd like to ask that someone who really understands this machine (the PREMO) list the different data that is available to the user and what are the ranges in numbers which correspond to categories such as good, bad, average etc. For instance, when I look at the leakage number I have no idea if the number indicates a significant leak or is consistent with a good seal. That information would help myself and I'm sure others seeking the same information.
Thanks in advance, Pete, Brooklin Ontario Canada.
P.S. any other tidbits of advice are more then welcome to this newbie!

Re: new F&P ICON PREMO user looking for data analysis info,
Bump.
Sorry, not many F & P Icon Premo members to answer your questions. So bumping to bring post back to front page.
Don't know of any tutorial or anything similar.
If you post your specific results members can give you a general guideline to look for.
F & P has a more generous leak allowance but I don't remember specifics.

Re: new F&P ICON PREMO user looking for data analysis info,
Make sure you hit the button until it just shows last night. The average on mine had some huge numbers from the DME just letting it flow in their office for a while. You can get online and see what rate your mask should flow at. ie, my swift pillows I think are about 20 l/min just blowing through the valve. Your actual leak will be the difference between that number and the number reported by the machine. I think I average 6 l/min in leak at night and the machine will report 26. These are rough numbers, but I think it should give you the idea. I was told not to worry about leaks under 50 l/min by the DME. They were telling me that the machine could keep up anyway. I'm sure someone else may be able to provide a definitive leak number to shoot for.
