C-flex/EPR comparison?

Post by wading thru the muck! » Wed Jan 18, 2006 10:34 pm

Anybody used both REMstar w/C-flex and ResMed with EPR machines?

I'm interested in learning how the feel of the EPR (pressure reduction during the full expiratory cycle) varies from C-flex (pressure reduction during the first second of the expiratory cycle).

... also a comparison of the perceptablilty of the pressure transitions.

Sincerely,

Greetings All,

For anyone interested in the topic who is looking for an answer to the fundamental differences between EPR and C-Flex, here is a good write up in the cpap.com newsletter:

Cheers.

Thanks Johnny,

Reading that write-up is what prompted my question. It seems to me that C-flex and EPR may be quite different from each other.
