Only problem I had on my first try with the new mask was my rigid 6' hose. It was the first time I used it not affixed to a HoseBuddy overhead and the tiny mask was no match for the wrestling match I had with the stupid hose hose!
Please share how you routed yours and any other info you feel may help me (length, etc.).
Many thanks - Jim

Re: Users of the new MIrage FX - HELP!
I don't use (never have) any hose management system.
I'm a side sleeper but I do switch sides from time to time during the night. Here's how mine works. My machine sits on a low nightstand next to the bed and the hose drops down into the crack between mattress and headboard, it then comes up and is stuffed under the edge of the pillow on whichever side I'm facing and has a loop down to about 4-6 inches below my chin then up to the mask. With it "anchored" under the edge of the pillow there's no pull or anything on the mask. When I roll over I grab the hose where its under the edge of the pillow and roll and then stuff it back under the edge of the pillow on the other side (pretty much do this without thinking about it now -- its just part of rolling over). This method also works on the rare occassions I back sleep.
Oh, I do velcro the hose to a command hook on the face of the headboard right next to the machine to keep it from possibly pulling the machine off and to reduce the flex as it comes out of the machine.
Pretty much used the same routing and method for every type of mask I've tried. I use Resmed equip -- in particular the ClimateLine hose. I'm not sure if it is significantly more flexible than what you have or not.
