No thanks to UPS who:
1 - delivered to the wrong house number where
2 - there was no APT number that matched mine and
3 - no one by my name lived there.
Thankfully, it was a neighbor and I just had to go round and collect it.
All set up on the bedside table now, so I can use it for a night to get used to it.
Very basic machine, but still quite functional. It has a ramp, heated humidifier (optional add-on) and takes up about the same cubic space as the S9. It is taller, but not as wide or deep. Also, it is MUCH lighter than the S9 - which is already pretty light by itself!
Got the hose set up, plus put my new PAD-A-CHEEKS on the mask (I had the other brand, but the velcro was driving me nuts).
Since it doesn't store data, I will only use it on the road after tonight. So it's back to my S9 tomorrow =)

I am looking forward to hearing about your adventure.

When ordering from CPAP.com, I now specify FedEx.
Cpap-supply.com uses priority mail--also good.
UPS, I don't know. --somehow not at the same level they once were.

Re: zzz-PAP has arrived
Last update for me on this thread (except to reply to posters) as the day to day use will be reported in the Daily Blowdown thread.
The unit works very well. It is basic and bare-bones, but does the job nicely. No real complaints except for two:
1 - there's a couple of green lights that never go out. They indicate power flowing, and can get annoying. I was also trying out the Onyix eye-shields, as I sometimes need eye-masks in hotels, so it wasn't a bad thing for me.
2 - while the humidifier base acts like a mousepad and stops the unit from moving around, the vibrations are still channeled down the hose. For those you are very sensitive to this, you'll feel it for sure. For me, I only noticed it when I felt the hose itself, and - being used to the S9 - thought something was wrong. As soon as I realized all was well, I drifted to sleep with no problems. It was not disruptive to me, but it is noticeable and might be disruptive to others.
The humidifier was set at 2, and I woke up a bit dry, but not too bad. I suspect a setting of 3 would be a good balance between dryness and rainout.
Not a bad set of gear for under $400 with the humidifier. Does not record any data, not even nightly averages, so I don't think it is suitable for your day-to-day machine, and it only does CPAP, no bi-level or ERP on this puppy. However, if you need a very basic machine at a low cost WITH a heated humidifier for travel or as a backup, this is the one I'd go for.
