Pillow Users - Having Issues with Wet Nose

Post by Starlette » Tue Apr 05, 2011 7:14 pm

Good evening.

If you're a pillow user, please do a search on "Wet Nose" by Robysue.
She is having issues with wet nose using her pillows. I had this happen to me also a couple of nite ago and and very interested in resolving this also.

Thanks.

The fix might be in the Lab Rat awards under Swift LT.
I recall something about a wick inside the pillow assembly.

Minor issues with wet nose in past 2 years of using nasal pillow mask. All happened in the colder times of the year and all happened despite wrapping hose in fleece, etc.

For me I think it is simply the moisture in my warm breath condensing in the nasal pillow itself which is out in cooler room air. I prefer a much cooler bedroom 60 degrees or less..

Since I added the fleece barrel cozy the condensation is greatly reduced but there is still a bit of moisture in the pillow. It is not enough to wet the barrel cozy though. Not really enough to bug me.

As soon as weather warms up, I have no doubt that it will go away again till next winter. I will continue to use the barrel cozy though because it is just so comfortable to have next to my skin.
