Just wondering if increased pressure wake anyone else up during the night. Why is this happening is it that i stop breathing.

Yes this can happen. I noice that you haven't listed your equipment or settings. If you list the information we can probably be of more help. If you become a member you can store your equipment info.

Yep, high pressure can certainly wake you up. Last night my machine decided to do a dance on me and upped my pressure from an IPAP of 11 to 20 over a few minutes. For my mask, this results in mask leaks every where and If I hadn't woken up, it would have blown the mask off my face. I'm going to see my DME to see if the machine is broken or something. There were no event records during the two times the machine did this last night.

If this is a regular problem, one possible solution would be to try a constant pressure, still using bi-level but turning off the automatic pressure changes, and see if AHI remains good. If it were me, I would consult the doctor, but many others would go ahead and try on their own.
