restedgal: Now that information is another eye opener! I can see that this may be a factor for me. What is the way to handle the reflux? If I end up on bipap with higher pressures I don't want the aerophagia to interfere with my treatment.
Thanks so much!

Thanks for your reply! Is the machine that he prescribed for you the S8 VPAP that shows in your stats? I would assume it is.

What kind of pressures did he prescribe for you?

I am quite sure that I will make a call to Dr. Krakow's office. I just need to get a couple of questions answered by my sleep doc here first - I have that appt May 16th. Did you do this in consultation with your sleep doc at home or did you just make the appt without your sleep doc involved. I am curious to know how the follow-up will be handled.

Good luck with your new protocol! Sweet dreams!!

I just called them. Follow up was the next morning @ 10:00am. Had I been thinking more clearly, and I wasn't due to bad sleep when I made my plane reservations, I would not have left as soon as I did. I only got about 40 minutes in with the Doctor the next morning before I had to leave town. Since I was in New Mexico I asked Gabe, the tech were a good place to get Huevos Rancheros was. He pointed me to a fine place for a good breakfast. I know, it isn't on my Paleo diet but damn it was good.

Hmm Huevos Rancheros sounds great. I never heard of a "Paleo" diet and just googled it. Interesting, I have been eating that way for the past 10 years or so - it kind of evolved for me as a way to heal "gut" problems. Not only did it work for that, but my weight stays down too.

Thanks!
