Respironics BiPap AutoSV Advanced Roars when it should Purr

Post by Lillypat42 » Sun Mar 20, 2011 5:21 pm

I have a Respironics BiPAP autoSV Advanced machine and a few times recently it wakes me up because the air is roaring through the hose instead of the slower, steady flow I need. Turning the machine on, waiting a few minutes and then turning it back on does not help. Most nights it is fine, but I don't know what to do about the times it roars instead of purrs. Does it need to go back to the mafg or the technician who set it or what? Anyone who has had this experience or could offer advice? Thanks.
