Lifecare Solutions??

Post by Nelliebear » Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:42 pm

I found out yesterday that my insurance co. cancelled their contract with Apria, and now is contracted with Lifecare Solutions. Perfect timing for me, I just had a sleep study last week and I will be getting a new machine after 5 years. The machine I have is not bad, but the buttons are wearing out, (I have to push it 4-5 times to turn on or off.)And I am hoping to get one that has data capabilities.
So I was wondering if others have Lifecare Solutions for their DME and what your opinions are. I didn't have huge issues with Apria, as I know others have, except that the facility I had to got to was filthy!

Not experienced with Lifecare, just wanted to say that the M-Series was known for having button trouble. I read about it on here and when mine started doing it, I called the DME and they replaced it. But if you have the Plus, maybe when you get a new machine you can get a data capable one. Since you've has it so long, I wouldn't just turn it in for an equal swap as those are so old. Let us know what you end up getting.

Thanks for the info. When I spoke to someone at Lifecare yesterday, I asked her what they would do with the broken button. She said we will give you a new machine, because the one you have isn't from us. So, I am happy they will replace it. If I do get a machine with Data capabilities, I will have to do lots of research, I know, to understand it. The lingo. all sounds like Greek to me!
I will let you know how it goes!

I don't think you can get an M-series anymore. System One replaced them.
