EKG Findings at study questions

Post by jmcsmomma » Fri Mar 25, 2011 11:35 am

My husband was admitted last week to coronary care unit, no heart attack or damage could be found, BUT BUT BUT, I noticed this morning that the eve of his titration, the papers report pvcs(triplett epoch#60) and the other, before the sleep mstudy said he had rare premature ventricular contractions. What Do you make of this? I realize we aren't heart docs here, just asking.

I believe everyone has PVC's from time to time. If they last for a long duration or occur frequently, they become a problem.

A "trip" (3 premature contractions in a row) is technically the lowest criteria for ventricular tachycardia. While it probably won't require intervention, that's one you want cleared by your cardiologist.
