One year ago today, I started my journey into OSA and CPAP “land”. I cannot say that it all has been an enjoyable journey. As with any journey, it has had its share of high points, low points and plateaus. At this particular point, I am on one of those plateaus. This is not unexpected, so I will continue on this journey. I have resigned my to the fact that I will be using a CPAP and a mask until I die, unless some miracle cure comes along.
I know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope that it is not on a train coming towards me.

Hey they say in marriage first year is the worst lol
So you have made it past your first year in commitment with you lovely CPAP
Almost seems like a marriage with its ups and downs eh.
Congratulations on your first anniversary. I believe it takes a lot of commitment to stick to this.
God bless
Chelle

Likewise, congratulations!
Thanksgiving, roughly, was my one year with this cpap stuff. I joined cpaptalk at the time of my sleep study. This year for me also had many ups and downs. But I am grateful for all of it. The ups and downs were far better than the nothingness I was experiencing during the later stages of my untreated apnea.

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I appreciate them very much. I have had other challenges in my life and I have stood up and said, "You're not going to beat me", and this one is no different.
