Checking in, and Merry Christmas!

Hi all! It's been a hectic week around here, but I wanted to give an update for those who are following my progress. And, I wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas!

It's been a rough week with rainout. My homemade double-layered fleece hose and Aura hose cover works better for keeping the heat in the air, but I still have major rainout. The heated hose from Aussie is ordered, and will be here in about another week - can't wait! I am still waking with a sore throat/swollen glands, and think the extra heat from the heated hose will alleviate that as well.

I have also been noticing mask leaks (Aura) while I am asleep, I am not sure how bad they are because I tend to try to re-adjust and fall back asleep. I have also ordered the smart card reader and it will be here in about 3 weeks. I think it will be very interesting (once I get it all figured out) to see how bad my leak problem is, and also to see what my numbers are.

For those of you who are wondering, I HAVE NOT robbed a bank (well, so far at least.... ) Actually, it is amazing how well things work out - I just had an interview last night for a new child to join my care, and the parent called today to say they would like to start in a week - that will really help the finances.

So, on this eve of Christmas Eve, I am grateful. I have remained 100% compliant (Chinese water torture and all), I have more equipment coming that will enable me to better my treatment, I have wonderful friends on this forum who are so supportive (and will be called upon to help with the information I obtain from the smart card in the future... ), and I have the best family and support system a gal could ask for.
