Does size matter?

Post by trytryagain » Mon Jan 10, 2011 8:07 am

I want to move my little side table where I keep my cpap machine which will make me need a slightly longer hose. I am using a heated climateline hose that only comes in 6'. I have a short hose that I can add. By doing that will I negate the efficiency of the heated hose by having about 2" of it at the mask end being just plain hose?

I wouldn't think the extra hose will make a difference. The velocity of the air from the cpap machine should prevent any condensation from occurring thru the extra 2 feet.

I did the same thing. No problems thus far. I do have a snuggle hose cover on my hose. I don't like the plastic feel of the hose.
