Question about selling mask

Post by JeffH » Sat Jan 08, 2011 10:42 pm

How are mask being sold now that cpaptalk won't allow resmed sales? I've got a Mirage SoftGel Nasal CPAP that I've used about 10 times (1/2 being 1 hr. naps) that isn't going to work for me due to having to wear eye protection during the night. It has a large wide cushion if anyone here is interested.

Thanks

JeffH

Hi JefH, sorry I can't help with the mask, but could you please tell me what you use for eye protection.
Thanks
Sue

Sure thing. I've used both Tranquileyes and Onyix mask. Right now I'm used the Onyix more. They really help alot.

Here's a link to the night eye protection part of their web site. Great people to deal with too, BTW, and I have no affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer.

Thanks JeffH. I too have been using these products after I found the site by chance. Prior to that I had "constructed" some homemade solutions. I find with the Onyx that I wake up with circles around my eyes but I have great success with the Tranquileyes. I recently purchased the bigger Tranquileyes to try them but they are way too big to use with my mask.
Thanks
Sue

I thought it was only the resmed machines that were not allowed on cpapauction.com, but I could be wrong.

Speedo swim goggles--just snug enough to stay in place.
Doesn't need to be as tight as you would wear them underwater.
And the best part is--I can wear a Speedo!

During my first few weeks of therapy, I was experimenting with nasal masks first, including comfort gel and easylife. I too used those speedo googles with my easy life mask - for a few days and then found no longer needed.
