Throat Exercises for Apnea

Post by sydneybird » Sun Jan 09, 2011 2:24 pm

Didgeridoo playing to help "cure" sleep apnea has been discussed on this forum.

Here is a link to a Men's Health magazine article that has a video of four exercises that may also help without having to buy a didgeridoo. http://www.menshealth.com/health/sleep-apnea-danger-0 , or just go to MensHealth dot com and search Sleep Apnea, just make sure you start on page 1 as the search brought me to page 4 in the middle of the article (Title: A Fit Man's Last Gasp, Sleep apnea can harm even the most fit men. Learn more about it in this Men's Health special report). Although in the video he doesn't know what the first P means in CPAP, the video and article brings awareness to the problem. A direct link to the video is http://bcove.me/nic7iim4 but you will miss the very good article on apnea that the first link provides.

He is using a Swift FX and the way he whips it onto his head would appear that he has no worries about leaks and such. Think he is taking the time to dab some Lansinoh on his nares?

Hi Sydneybird

Thanks for the link to the informative article, and video.

All this is very interesting.

No matter how well Cpap works, I cannot travel with the freedom to sleep wherever I happen to be.

If I ever succeed in doing without it, I will report back

cheers

Mars
