Online DMEs

Post by LinkC » Thu Jan 06, 2011 7:18 pm

Anyone use an online DME they are happy with? My brick and mortar just consolidated their CPAP business to another branch. And the lady who who runs it if often gone and rarely returns calls.

I'm used to walking in and getting supplies in "real-time". If they are gonna ship them from GA, there's no reason to put up with that. I can switch to any that will process my ins claims. Automatically sending replacements on a schedule would be a plus.

The good? The bad? The ugly?

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

Link...I'm not sure if you are on Medicare, but, Medicare does not allow automatic shipments.

Home-Care Equipment Network Inc. is a subsidiary of Lincare Inc.

I ain't going to even think of dealing with them.

Most don't deal with insurance due to the extra manpower to submit all the paperwork, they try to keep costs down. There are more office staff at my Drs. office than Drs. I bet that applies to many other Drs too. john
