Start of dry mouth.

Post by Bobby269 » Wed Jan 05, 2011 3:04 pm

I have been using my equipment for about 6 weeks. The temperature in my Home at night was between 69F and 73. Until 3 nights ago I didn't have dry mouth. The machine humidity is set to 3.5. The only thing different that was done 3 days ago was to drop the ramp time from 40 minutes to 10 minutes. While doing this I did get to the humidity screen and moved it to 3.0 and then back to 3.5. The last three nights the temperature was between 69 to 71.
My DHE says that she will move the temperature from 77 to 80 and that will fix the problem.I have the resmed slimline heated hose.
Does this sound correct? What would have happened if I just increased the humidity?
I know that I can adjust the humidity. Can I adjust the temperature myself? The DHE said that she would adjust it from her office.
