Lower AHI with C-Flex Plus Use

Post by DadscreepyCPAPmask » Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:38 pm

I have noticed that my AHI is a bit lower using the C-Flex plus setting of 1 then when using just straight CPAP therapy. With straight pressure I average about 2.2 and with the C-Flex on its about 1.8 or so.
My DME set my pressure to 8. I was thinking of adjusting the pressure up to 8.5 or 9 and seeing if I can get the AHI down even further. Is it even worth trying?

Thanks

I can't see that there's much to lose - it's only 1 number and a fairly low one at that.

Since using a C-Flex setting of 1 has already helped you lower your AHI, have you tried increasing your C-Flex setting to 2 or 3 to see if the higher flex makes a difference? I would suggest making one change at a time and then waiting at least a few days before making another so you can see what makes the most difference for you.

No I have not, but I can of course. Can anyone explain why my AHI's are better with C-Flex?
