The promises of an empty folder

Winter finally found us.
Just enough snow, but plenty of cold.
So, I sit and ponder an empty folder.

It is good, the snow and cold.
It brings a needed rest.
...and I wonder about that empty folder.

There's time to study the maps,
time to figure new ways
to fill that empty folder.

I can feel the sun on my face,
I can feel the cold rain,
just staring at that empty folder.

I feel all the heart beats to accomplish a goal,
the victories and some defeats,
waiting for me in that empty folder.

I can see all my friends, along w/me,
hoping that health and happiness are found
in the prospects of your empty folder.

This year, there are going to be new roads,
new directions, a new mind set, a new me
......all found in the promises of an empty folder.
"If your therapy is improving your health but you're not doing anything
to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.

I'm guessing that carbonman doesn't mean a folding bike.
I bought a Dahon 5-speed folder several years ago, and am contemplating giving it to my grandson--just for giggles.
He already has an original swing bike.

Inspiring, CarbonMan. Thank you.

I can't take credit for the following:

May peace break into your home and may thieves come to steal your debts.

May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $50 bills.

May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!

May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy

May the problems you had, forget your home address!

In simple words ..............

May the year 2011 be the best year of your life!!!

Happy New Year!!

Women are Angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly.....on a broomstick. We are flexible like that.
My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.

If thieves break into my home, I hope they steal that big TV that doesn't work....
